Postdoctoral Fellowships  a Panel Discussion

This panel discussion led by Lauren Guido (GSG Academic Chair) will provide an opportunity for participants to learn more about postdoctoral fellowships. The panel will include current Mines postdoctoral fellows as well as professors who completed postdoctoral fellowships. As attendees, you will have the opportunity to ask questions to better understand the processes of applying for a postdoctoral placement, the benefits and potential issues associated with pursuing a postdoc, the experiences gained, and any other questions you would find most useful in making this career decision.

Please register in advance. Lunch will be provided for preregistered attendees.

This workshop is part of the Career Toolkit for Graduate Students workshop series. Career Toolkit for Graduate Students is a workshop series aiming to provide early career researchers with tips, tools, and best practices across the research lifecycle as well as prepare students for life beyond school.

The series is hosted weekly by Seth Vuletich, Scholarly Communications Librarian, and Roel Snieder, Director of the Center for Professional Development Education.
