On Saturday morning, October 14, 2023, a library faculty member and students from the Mines Astronomy Club will observe the Moon as it eclipses the Sun in a partial eclipse. Maximum eclipse is about 78%. We will set up some telescopes behind the Southwest corner of the library near the ADA Accessible door and walkway. |
Solar eclipse glasses will be provided for preregistered attendees.
Even if you don't register, you are welcome to attend the viewing session that morning.
